Escentric Molecules
Strongly inspired by the natural sciences and natural scents, Escentric Molecules was created by German Geza Schoen in collaboration with experts from ThisCompany in London. The goal was to go in a different direction from the mass-producing perfume industry with long lists of ingredients and instead bring the focus back to the original perfume with only a few scent notes.
Geza Schoen's idea was simple: Simultaneously, he wanted to launch two different perfumes consisting of only a few ingredients. In 2006, the fragrance pair Molecules 01 and Escentric 01 were introduced. Both are based on the fragrance Iso E Super. In Escentric 01, Iso E Super was mixed with ingredients like pink pepper, lime zest, and iris incense, while Molecules 01 consisted exclusively of Iso E Super. In 2008, the company again launched two perfumes: Molecules 02 and Escentric 02, and later, Molecules 03 and Escentric 03 followed. In 2017, the assortment was again expanded with the 04 fragrance pair.
The common denominator for the fragrances of molecules is that they consist solely of 1 molecular substance (80%) and some alcohol (20%). The similar Escentric scents consist of 65% of the same molecular substance as the Molecules-partner, but they have added some roots.
All the scents are unisex, and they are extremely durable and unique depending on who is wearing them.
