The Ti22 is the ultimate Safety Razor for every connoisseur who wants only the best gear! The Ti22 is Henson's top model and is manufactured in the absolute best and most durable quality.
The Henson Ti22 Medium Razor puts an end to irritation and tears when shaving, while leaving your skin feeling comfortable and smooth. Henson Shaving created this razor to give you a shaving experience you've never tried before!
The razor gets rave reviews on shaving forums all over the world!
This Razor is designated MEDIUM. The only difference between this MEDIUM version and the other MILD version is the blade opening and blade exposure. MEDIUM is a more aggressive Razor and extra good for coarse, strong hair. It can handle thicker and longer hair than the MILD version can, but also requires a little more attention during shaving.
Designed without compromise
The design and aggressiveness of the Ti22 razor is exactly the same as the design of the AL13 (the only difference is the metal used). Henson is designed to present the blade at the optimal shaving angle with as little blade exposure as possible. The blade protrudes only minimally from the Razor and the razor blade is pressed so that it has an extraordinarily stiff blade edge without flex in the blade. The result is an alarmingly safe shave that eliminates skin irritation.
Unique quality with Titanium
The Razor is made of 5 grade Titanium (Ti-6Al-4V), which is known for its strength and durability. The material is lighter than steel, but also stronger. It takes enormous skill and experience to machine titanium to the tolerances that a Henson Razor requires. This makes this Ti22 a very rare and unique Razor!
It goes without saying that this is an exceptionally durable razor that you can enjoy for a lifetime!
Choosing a titanium Razor is also good for the environment, to avoid unnecessary use of plastic.
The Ti22 weighs twice as much as Henson's AL13 Razor.
Perfect ergonomics
It is said that the ideal blade angle is 30° when using a Safety Razor. The Razor must therefore be held at this angle against the skin for an optimal shave. It is also this angle that Henson works with. But to make the ergonomics the best possible for you, Henson has pressed the razor blade so that it bends 30°. This means that your hand can be held in a more comfortable position during the shave.
The Henson Razor is definitely a lightweight Razor with only 37 grams. The unique staggered diamond pattern that is knurled provides a super comfortable grip.
A shave without rinsing along the way
With many Razors, piles of hair pile up in the Razor during shaving, so more rinsing and more strokes over the skin are needed - and thus a greater risk of irritation. Irritation can occur because clogged hairs block new hairs from being effectively shaved. This can be compared to a rake. If the rake is full of leaves, it cannot collect as many leaves as when the rake is empty of leaves. Your shave therefore becomes less effective, the more hairs there are in the Razor. BUT Henson has the solution for that with this Razor. Henson has made extra large channels where cut hairs can flow as freely as possible and leave the blade. This also means that the need for rinsing becomes less along the way. In fact, Henson's razorf
is so efficient that most people can go through an entire shave without rinsing!
Good tips for using your Henson Razor
1) Make sure you close the Razor completely by tightening the handle until it stops. Failure to fully tighten the handle will result in more blade exposure and a different shave than what the design of the Henson razor is intended for.
2) Apply only minimal pressure to the skin. The Henson is designed to cut hair precisely at skin level. You may be surprised at how little pressure you need to use to get a good shave.
3) Rinse the Razor after use by holding it under running water. We do not recommend hitting the Razor against your sink or bathtub to remove excess water.
Henson Titanium vs. Henson Aluminium
The Titanium version feels rougher and exhibits a noticeable difference compared to the aluminum version, as the ridges are sharper. This is simply due to the difference in materials (aluminum vs. titanium).
Made in Canada.
Please note: There is a small notch in the thread of a Henson razor - That's intentional!
