Preshaven is the first step in your shave. It lays a protective membrane which ensures that the razor grabs the beard stumps rather than the skin. This gives you a much closer and more comfortable shave.

The preshave should not be rinsed off, but merely serve as a base for subsequent care in the form of either shaving cream, shaving soap or shaving cream.

1) Wash face thoroughly.

2) Apply preshave cream and allow it to penetrate the beard.

3) Apply Proraso Shaving Foam / Shaving Cream / Shaving Soap.

4) Shave with your Double Edge razor.

5) Rinse face with cold water to close pores.

6) Apply Proraso After Shave Lotion.

7) Use your regular day or face cream.
