The name Freshman is inspired by one of the first fragrance formulations that William Francis Truefitt made. Launched in 1815, the scent is the oldest fragrance from Truefitt & Hill. However, it has since been relaunched to fit the modern gentleman nowadays.
Freshman is, as its name suggests, a refreshing and subtle scent for men. The scent was created with fashion conscious students from universities such as Oxford and Cambridge in mind.
The scent has top notes of lemon, bergamot, rosemary, mint and orange blossom. The heart notes come from sage, line conval, jasmine and ylang-ylang, while the base rests on musk and oak moss.
