The Santoku knife from Bob Kramer - The Euro Stainless series is ideal for Asian-inspired cooking.
The knife is made of stainless steel and equipped with an extremely sharp blade. The polished insert makes the Santoku knife usable for all purposes in the kitchen and perfect for cutting meat and fish.
The 18 cm long blade also makes the knife good for slicing and chopping larger vegetables. You can not help but notice the pattern on the ice-hardened CRYODUR® blade, which is created through several layers of stainless steel.
The blade core is made of powder steel SG2, encapsulated in another 100 layers of steel. A complex machine treatment produces the wavy pattern and a special curing process gives the blade a hardness of 63 Rockwell.
The sharp edge of the Santoku knife will slide easily and effortlessly through all raw materials.
The shaft is made of Micarta, which is a layered material of canvas and synthetic resin that is often used for knives. It has a special wood-like appearance and is attached to the blade with steel rivets.
The ergonomically shaped shaft is both non-slip and water-repellent. For comfortable cutting work, it is incredibly important that a knife has the most optimal balance.
Ergonomics, effortless cutting skills and optimal hygiene are the primary qualities of this knife, which is why you can use it to cut a myriad of raw materials in the blink of an eye.
The core of the blade is made of SG2 powder steel, encapsulated in 100 layers of steel with two different degrees of hardness. This provides a durable cutting edge, as well as incredible initial sharpness and unique cutting ability.
CRYODUR® ice-cured blades provide extremely good cutting ability, corrosion resistance and optimal flexibility.
The Micarta shaft (a multilayer material made of canvas and synthetic resin) with stainless steel rivets and a decorative logo is dimensionally stable and moisture resistant.
Non-slip ergonomic shape shaft for comfortable knife handling.
Each knife is a unique work of art with a distinctive damask pattern.
