Tatara Razors

The name Tatara (鑪) is inspired by the furnace where the highly specialized swordsmiths melted the steel for samurai swords in ancient Japan. Just like the ancient katana swords, Tatara's razors and products are made with extreme dedication and attention to even the smallest detail. This, combined with the most modern and precise manufacturing methods, gives the products an unprecedented degree of precision and a sense of quality.

The team behind Tatara is based in Porto, Portugal, and has been producing razors that stand out from the crowd in every way since 2016.

With a strong focus on details such as blade gap, angle, exposure, and blade vibrations, Tatara has produced razors with tolerances of 0.02 mm, ensuring complete control over the blade's position and operation, as well as a rarely seen consistency from one shave to another.
